FRANKFURT AM MAIN,16 OCT 2023 - CyrusOne, a leading global data center developer and operator, has announced Carsten Schneider as Managing Director of the German business, which is one of the most important markets for CyrusOne's future growth in Europe. Reporting to Matt Pullen, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, he will be responsible for leading and overseeing the expansion and management of the organization in Germany.
The addition of Schneider to the CyrusOne European team demonstrates the company's commitment to investing in top talent to reinforce its position at the forefront of the data center industry. Carsten brings over 20 years of experience leading projects across facilities management and real estate.
Previously, Schneider was Head of Business Development / Mergers & Acquisitions at Infrareal Holding GmbH & Co. Prior to that he spent over 15 years at Pharmaserv GmbH, where as Head of Facilities & Real Estate Management he was responsible for constructing and managing approximately 100 industrial buildings including one of Germany's largest MRNA-COVID 19 manufacturing facilities in Europe.
