Located west of downtown San Antonio off state highway 151, CyrusOne's 110,000-sq. ft. SAT1 data center was the city's first enterprise colocation facility. The SAT1 data center boasts some of the lowest power costs in the country and can scale up to 20 megawatts of power from multiple substations.
The facility provides extra layers of physical security including hurricane shutters, impact-resistant glazing, and extra diesel on-site, and is located outside of flood zones. Features include 24x7x365 security onsite, video surveillance of the exterior and interior, and rigid access control to ensure the safety and security of mission-critical environments.
