DEI Programs and Initiatives
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Training
CyrusOne has done comprehensive, company-wide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) training as part of our HR Roadshow. The training focused on embracing different cultures and ethnicities and engaging with our employees and customers in a way that reflects and respects their unique perspectives and experience. In addition to the DEI training, an annual refresher training course is completed by all employees. Each year, CyrusOne also hosts a Talent Day and Summit event that brings everyone together for leadership development and recognition of CyrusOne team members.
Annual Audit of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Efforts
Each year, CyrusOne utilizes an outside firm to audit our diversity and inclusion efforts to ensure that we are compliant with regard to the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) audit for the government. We monitor our diversity and inclusion statistics on a monthly basis and use this data when making pay and promotion decisions to ensure that we are continuing to increase representation. CyrusOne also celebrates many diversity days throughout the year that highlight all of the unique perspectives held within the company.
Members & Supporters of the Women’s Business Conference
The Women’s Business Conference is an empowerment conference for women that addresses social, cultural, economic, and political challenges that women experience in business through an interactive agenda. It provides development and networking opportunities for female leaders at CyrusOne who are members. For more information, click here.
NAREIT’s Diversity Forum – Executive Sponsorship
NAREIT is the worldwide representative voice for REITs and listed real estate companies with an interest in U.S. real estate and capital markets. Members of the forum are REITs and other businesses that own, operate and manage income-producing real estate, as well as those firms and individuals who advise, study, and service those businesses. The Diversity Forum helps companies develop a roadmap for developing and implementing industry-leading processes for building diverse workplaces. CyrusOne is a member of the forum and supports the cause with executive sponsorship. Our CFO, Diane Morefield, currently serves as Co-Chair of the diversity steering committee.

Listening to Communities
Understanding public perception of data centers and how this shapes community initiatives
