LONDON, April 09, 2025 - CyrusOne, a leading global data center developer and operator specializing in state-of-the-art infrastructure solutions, today announced the appointment of James Miller as Senior Director of Site Acquisition to head up the function in Europe. In this role, James will be responsible for leading the acquisition of new data center sites suitable for development across Europe, and managing the strategic, cross-departmental collaboration of these projects. In addition, James will oversee the identification of risk factors, civil requirements and zoning of sites, and the research of network and power culpability.

James joins CyrusOne from Microsoft, where he served as a Senior Site Acquisition Manager responsible for the strategy, negotiation and execution of leases in key European markets including London and Dublin. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role securing leases to support new region launches into the Madrid and Milan markets. Prior to his time at Microsoft, James was part of the Corporate and Specialist Valuation team at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) providing valuation and transaction consultancy advice to lenders, private equity sponsors and operators across a diverse range of asset classes including data centers, wind farms windfarms, film studios and life science campuses.
