ISO 27001 certification now maintained at 23 CyrusOne facilities across the nation and supports CyrusOne leadership position in certifications and audits obtained to meet enterprise requirements
DALLAS (June 3, 2016) – Global colocation solutions provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) has obtained ISO 27001:2013 certification for its Carrollton, Texas, facility. The company now retains ISO 27001 compliancy in 23 facilities across its U.S. data center footprint.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization.
The accredited certification body, A-lign Security and Compliance Services LLC, has certified 23 CyrusOne facilities in the following locations : (1) Phoenix, Ariz. (2); Chicago, Ill.; South Bend, Ind. (2); Florence, Ky.; Cincinnati, Oh. (6); Sterling, Va.; and in Texas: (1) Dallas (2); Houston (3); Austin (3); and (4) San Antonio. Maintaining ISO certification supports CyrusOne’s maintenance of effective security systems, including physical controls, environmental safeguards, and security of other IT services and connectivity offerings.
In addition to achieving ISO certification, CyrusOne‘s privacy practices and statement have been certified by TRUSTe and CyrusOne has also implemented a host of additional comprehensive practices in support of the following assessments: Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and SSAE 16 (SOC 1 Type II).
