CyrusOne Expands Global Sales Team, Adding Dell Veteran John Gould and Digital Realty Veteran Brent Behrman
Former Dell and Digital Realty Leaders Bring Decades of Experience to Help Build on CyrusOne’s Accelerating Sales Initiatives
DALLAS (October 12, 2016) – Global data center provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) announced today the hiring of John Gould as the company’s new executive vice president of global sales and Brent Behrman as executive vice president of strategic sales. Both industry veterans will be tasked with overseeing the continued global and enterprise growth of CyrusOne’s sales operations.

With more than 20 years of experience, Gould brings an array of talents, including leadership expertise in sales operations and go-to-market strategy. Prior to joining CyrusOne, Gould served as president of North American operations for Stratasys. In his career, Gould served as chief revenue officer and general manager of North America for ReachLocal, Inc. and held executive leadership positions for more than 14 years at Dell. In his last 5 years with Dell, he led Dell’s IT Consulting Division that focused on large scale data center consolidation, virtualization, & Microsoft platform implementations. Gould has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Connecticut College and an MBA in general management and marketing from Vanderbilt University – Owen Graduate School of Management.

Before taking the position at CyrusOne, Behrman served as senior vice president of sales for Compass Datacenters, overseeing the company’s sales organization with a focus on leading channel and direct sales efforts. Behrman also worked with Digital Realty for more than 6 years, most recently serving as senior vice president of sales where he was responsible for overseeing the global go-to-market strategy and client/channel relationship management. Previously in his career, Behrman had taken on sales leadership roles at Vettro Corporation, Entrust Inc., and Nortel Networks. Behrman received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University at College Station and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of North Texas.
