ODATA is one of the leading data center providers in Latin America focused on serving the needs of high growth potential companies, such as hyperscale cloud providers, financial and telecommunications institutions. Brazil is the largest and fastest-growing data center market in Latin America and ODATA is well-positioned to capture much of this growth, up to 15.6 megawatts (“MW”) of capacity available in DC SP01. A second data center in the State of São Paulo is already under construction. The DC SP02 will have a capacity of 40MW of IT power, the largest data center campus in Latin America. In Colombia, the DC BG01 is already under operation with 4.6MW of IT power. The company has plans to develop over 100 MW in Latin America.

About ODATA

Crafted by Patria Investments infrastructure department, one of the largest Private Equity investment management companies in Brazil, ODATA started out large. Founded in June 2015, the company was created with the purpose of providing all the infrastructure to house servers that process information with global distribution. The company’s core business is the provision of colocation services, i.e., provision of proper physical space to store large volumes of information.

All the infrastructure was designed to provide fully dedicated and highly secure environments, with high power energy, cooling and maximum resource efficiency capabilities.

DC SP01, the name given to ODATA’s first data center, was opened in May 2017, after the record construction time of seven months in Santana de Parnaíba, in the Metropolitan Area of São Paulo.

ODATA SPO1 DATA CENTER
Built to house public and private cloud computing infrastructure and support high-density racks, it is one of the most advanced colocation data centers in Latin America. It comprises a built-up area of 13,500 m², of which 5,600 m² are raised floors, in an area of 22,800 m² located in the Metropolitan Area of São Paulo – ensuring ease of access to Castelo Branco (SP 280) and Anhanguera (SP 330) highways.

ODATA BG01 DATA CENTER
The ODATA BG 01 data center is located in the Siberia sector, 15 minutes away from Bogotá, in the Metropolitan Free Trade Zone. The data center occupies an area of 6 thousand m² and includes three stories, in a total built-up area of 5,600 m², of which 2,280 thousand m² are raised floors, divided in six rooms.

ODATA DC SP01

ODATA DC SP02

Located in Hortolandia, a municipality in the Campinas region, State of São Paulo, Brazil, DC SP02 is a large 40MW IT power data center campus, ideally projected to house large and high density demands from hyperscalers and fast-growing companies. It can be fastly and easily accessed through Bandeirantes (SP 348) and Anhanguera (SP 330) highways. DC SP02 will go live in January, 2020.

The ODATA BG 01 data center is located in the Siberia sector, 15 minutes away from Bogotá, in the Metropolitan Free Trade Zone.

The Metropolitan Free Trade Zone is a permanent free zone of 235,000 m², located 3.5 km away from the city of Bogotá. One of the main differentials of the area is the 24/7 availability of an integrated security system, as well as tax deduction in the purchase of goods and services and simplification of the equipment input process.
