CyrusOne’s Texas data center capacity is the most of any state. As the only public data center with headquarters in Texas, we find this area is an excellent market for colocation due to its low risk of natural disasters, available fiber, and low operating costs. Our Texas data center operations are based in Carrollton, just north of Dallas; however, CyrusOne has invested in multiple Texas data center locations.
Three of CyrusOne’s Texas data centers are located in the capital, Austin. Two of these colocations are within just a few minutes of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. They are carrier-neutral and have a dark-fiber connectivity option.
Located in the Met Center business park, CyrusOne’s other Texas data center in Austin provides 172,000 total square feet of shell and offers 120,000 colocation square feet (CSF), with up to 18 megawatts of power, and over 25,000 sq. ft. of class A office space at full build.
Dallas is home to three of our Texas data centers: one downtown, one in Carrollton and another in Lewisville. Our Carrollton colocation is not only amongst the most energy efficient data centers in the United States, it is the largest Texas data center. All of our Dallas facilities are part of our National Internet Exchange and together offer more than 870,000 square feet of data center space.
One of CyrusOne’s other Texas data centers, the 200,000 square foot Lewisville facility provides redundant power architecture, high density capability, and abundance of connectivity to many local and international companies.
On the coast of Texas are five separate colocations in Houston with each facility offering something unique. The Galleria data center is 100,000 square feet and is designed for high density computing that sits on the same power ring as the Emergency Broadcasting Network.

San Antonio is home to two of our Texas data centers: each with almost 300,000 square feet of total colocation space. Each data center has a 36-inch raised floor design with CRAH units in place for optimal cooling. Located just 17 minutes from the San Antonio International Airport, these two Texas data centers are just minutes from several hotels and restaurants.
Due to strong demand, CyrusOne is adding a second facility to the list of Texas data centers in San Antonio. Located near CyrusOne’s first San Antonio facility, the new site will have up to 196,000 colocation square feet (CSF) and 20,000 sq. ft. of superior Class A office space that can be used by customers.
