Indiana Data Centers – CyrusOne
CyrusOne has two data center locations in Indiana, both conveniently located around South Bend. The first colocation center is located on Crescent Street in Blackthorn, an industrial park in South Bend. This colocation facility is centrally nestled between commerce diverse cities in the heart of North Central Indiana. This data center is for customers that require a robust facility for mission-critical applications, as well as for disaster recovery and business continuity environments.
There is expansion space available for custom hall or office space use and this data center is carrier-neutral and has a dark fiber connectivity option. Each of our colocation centers in Indiana are SSAE 16 (SOC I type II), PCI DSS (sec 9 & 12), HIPAA, ISO 27001, and FISMA compliant. Our Indiana data center also offer a 24/7, 365-day a year reporting staffavailable to provide “smart hands” support. Our Crescent colocation facility has a 2MW power capacity and a 1730-gallon fuel site capacity. There are also two parallel-configured 750kW Kohler generators to provide emergency power. Our facilities in Indiana both feature a 24-inch raised floor design to provide optimum cooling.
Security for both Indiana data center locations includes a 2-factor data hall access control – biometric and key-card authentication. Recorded video surveillance is taken of the interior and the exterior and cabinet and cage security options include individual key locks and dial pads for key-code access. Our Crescent data center utilizes the Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) to provide critical time to access and address any emergency fire situation. The Crescent data center is less than a 10-minute drive to South Bend Airport, which will soon be internationally accessible.
Our second colocation data center in Indiana is located in downtown South Bend and is strategically placed along the gigabit speed capable fiber infrastructure surrounding the city of Elkhart. This data center in Indiana is capable of providing a strong network to accommodate customers’ needs that require redundancy and high bandwidth services. This colocation center has dual secure halls with 2,500 square feet and 3,500 square feet available, respectively, as well as room for expansion.
The power for this second facility in Indiana is a 1MW power capacity with a 1250-gallon fuel site capacity. There is also an 800kW Kohler generator on hand to provide emergency backup power. A Fike Fenwal suppression FM200 system is in place to provide fire protection. This colocation data center is less than a 15-minute drive to South Bend Airport and is centrally located between Kalamazoo, MI, Chicago, IL, Fort Wayne, IN and Indianapolis, IN.
